Letting the harrow play until we reach the headland. The beech tree will never hide sparrows from hungry hawks.

Dublin Pride, Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde (16 October 1854 – 30 November 1900) statue in Merrion Square, Dublin. Wonder what he would have made of Dublin Pride, apart from a pithy comment that is.

Darkside play at #thebuttonfactory Dublin 25 Mar 2014 #stilpix #Darkside #HiddenAgenda
http://youtu.be/hIKAYjOmG6wA collaboration between Nicolas Jarr and Dave Harrington who perform under the Darkside moniker. Jarr provides the dance grooves with Harrington adding sprinkles of warm bluesy riffs, reminding me of Robbie Robertson or even Ry Cooder. The light effects on the current tour are special and give an extra kick to the show. By times the set is moody and slightly menacing and then, in a chord change, the dance vibe is back. The packed crowd at Dublin’s Button Factory were up for it (and so were the camera phones). Darkside’s album ‘Psychic’ was released in 2013 and is well worth a listen.
